EXPERIENCE the COURSE...

Horseshoe Bay Golf Club, created by the Frank Murphy Cowles family, opened for play in the summer of 2000 and was the fulfillment of Frank E. Murphy's dream to create a world-class golf facility on the bluffs of Door County.  The course measures 7101 yards from the championship tees, making the course a tough test for seasoned golfers.  Three additional sets of tees allow golfers of varying skill levels to play the course and still find it a challenge.

The course has many unforgettable holes and beautiful scenery as it winds through rolling meadows, pinewoods, apple orchards and an abundance of wildflowers.  The 18th hole, 604 yards from the championship tee, is an example of Horseshoe Bay Golf Club at its best.  The hole doglegs from left to right and slopes downhill to the green.  As you reach the ridge and the end of the dogleg, the hole opens to a breathtaking view of the waters of Green Bay and the shores beyond, and - if you're playing late in the day - a spectacular Door County sunset.
